The panic around the world has shut us down at home and seems to deprive us of our freedom, and the weather outside the window helps us to stay at home and survive.
Today, within the framework of the «Virtual Travel» project, I want us to get out of the current situation together and move to Brazil, a country of infinite colors, art and freedom.
Brazil includes narrow streets, colorful buildings and houses, bright lights, endless music, sea, football and of course colorful and unusual carnivals. All this creates a mood and a great desire to discover Brazil.
Well, let’s go!
Let’s imagine for a moment that we are in the largest and most colorful city in Brazil, Rio de Janeiro. We are located on the top of Mount Corcovado at altitude of 700 meters, as it is the symbol of Rio and of course, the main sight of Brazil, the Redeemer statue of Christ, which by the way is the 5th largest statue of Jesus in the world.
After imagining this all, we can consider that the first and the best step has been taken towards the discovery of Brazil. The next important point, of course, is the carnival. The words, Brazil and Carnival seem to be synonymous, and it is simply impossible to imagine one without the other. We are located in Rio, where the largest and most luxurious carnivals are organized. The number of participants in such carnivals mainly has around two million and lasts for four days. Even imagining gives you a smile. Four days, four different and unusual days. People unite and rejoice, just smile and enjoy life.
Take a crazy ride from Rio to the city of Manaus and visit Teatro Amazonas. The theater fascinated me with its colorful and distinctive look, which is typical of Brazil, and believe me, the history of construction is more attractive and interesting. It turns out that during the construction of the theater, goods brought from different countries of the world were used, such as furniture from France, marble from Italy, and steel from England. The top of the theater is covered with 36,000 small ceramic tiles painted in the colors of the Brazilian flag. The first performance took place on January 7, 1897.
Continuing the cultural research, let’s go to the colorful city of El Salvador, which is the cultural center of Brazil. The city is also famous for its beaches, which are different and attractive. The central beach of Salvador, Porto de Barra, is designed for those who prefer peaceful rest, and the beach of Farrol da Barra is famous for its high waves and beautiful scenery, especially at sunset.

Brazil is full of secrets and trying to discover it only virtual, is simply impossible. I think this is a country that is revealed to each of us in a unique way and you just have to feel it.
As for the question why Brazil? I will answer , it is a country of carelessness and harmony for me, and in this period we really feel the lack of it.
P.S. I hope I was able to cut you off from reality for at least a few minutes and take you with me to bloody Brazil.
